Call for applications ESTD Board

Dear ESTD members, would you be interested in joining the ESTD board?

As you know, two members of the board have resigned in the last year: Ellen Jepsen and Lise Moeller, after many years of participation and important contributions.

Office as Board member lasts for three years. After completing a three-year term, board members may apply for one additional three-year term.

We are seeking committed candidates willing to engage actively in the management and development of our Society, we look forward to your cooperation!

What are the tasks of a Board member?

Board members are usually clinicians and/or researchers working in the field of Trauma and Dissociation, already members of ESTD and interested in the dissemination and development of knowledge on these areas. Those who join the board participate in monthly online meetings and committee activities, contributing new ideas, organisational skills and social awareness.

What are the benefits of being a board member?

Being a board member allows you to contribute personally to the continued growth of our clinical and scientific community. Continued participation in the design and implementation of training events and facilitation settings for professionals in our field is a unique international network of colleagues an exciting experience.

How to apply

Following the “Guidelines for Board Member Elections” (approved at the last AGM LINK ), please submit the application form to assistant@estd.org by September 9.

Suitable candidates will be invited to attend a Board meeting to introduce themselves, share their areas of interest, and ask questions about the role.

The online elections will take place after this meeting, with the date announced two weeks in advance. Candidate names and self-presentations will be published so members can make an informed choice.

We look forward to hearing from you!
